Care Wings is committed to supporting children, young people, and families. Our diverse forms of support address immediate concerns while laying down a foundation for long-term resilience and success. We can support children and young people in the community, at home, and at our premises. We can also complement support already in place, such as healthcare, education, and young offending teams.
We aim to provide safe spaces for children and teenagers to engage in constructive activities that will support them in developing social skills and personal growth. We aim to proactively build trust between individuals and support young people away from potential pitfalls. We also aim to empower children, young people, and families to be more informed and realise their potential.
Care Wings also provides escorting of children, young people or adults at risk. Our service supports children and young people to be safely accompanied to schools, medical appointments, or social activities when their guardians are unable to do so. We also provide escorting services to placements such as foster care, residential homes, or other secure environments. Our escorts have training in safeguarding, customer service, care and will give peace of mind to families and carers, knowing that their loved ones are in safe hands during what can often be a stressful transition.
Care Wings specialises in bespoke services designed to address the unique needs of each individual or family we support. We understand that no two families are alike, and it is this understanding that drives us to tailor our approach with precision and empathy.
We prioritise the well-being of all individuals we support while at the same time creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive, young people can explore their potential, and families can find the support they need to navigate life’s challenges. Our bespoke service ensures that every interaction is meaningful and impactful.
We specilaise with providing one-to-one and group support. One-to-one support can be highly effective for children who require personalised attention, such as mentoring where a dedicated mentor guides the child through academic challenges or personal development goals. This tailored approach ensures that each child receives the necessary encouragement and resources to excel.
On the other hand, group support offers a dynamic environment where young people can learn from each other’s experiences and build social skills. Examples include peer support groups that focus on mental health awareness, allowing participants to share their stories and strategies for coping with stress or anxiety. Family workshops are another excellent example of group support we offer. They bring families together to address common issues like communication barriers or parenting challenges.
